I need assistance with my Working Holiday / Digital Nomad visa
Working Holiday Visa
Japan’s Working Holiday scheme allows young people from partner countries to spend an extended period in Japan, combining travel with short-term or part-time work. It is designed to promote cultural exchange and gives applicants considerable freedom in how they spend their time in Japan.
Digital Nomad Visa
Japan’s Digital Nomad Visa (currently available to eligible remote workers meeting specific income and insurance requirements) permits individuals to live temporarily in Japan while continuing to work for overseas employers or clients. Unlike traditional work visas, it does not require a sponsoring company within Japan.
Where and how these visas are applied for
Both the Working Holiday Visa and the Digital Nomad Visa must be applied for directly by the applicant at a Japanese embassy or consulate in the applicant’s country of residence.
Because the application must be submitted in person — and because Japanese immigration does not allow representatives to file these applications on your behalf — we cannot act as your agent for submission.
How we can assist
Although we cannot submit the visa application for you, we can support you with the preparation of required documents, including:
- Itinerary / activity plan for your stay in Japan
- Personal statements, explanations, or supporting notes
- Clarification of requirements and how to present your information clearly
- Review of your documents for completeness and consistency
Our role is to make sure your application package is well-prepared before you visit the embassy or consulate.
